University of Bordeaux Legal & Judicial Centre (PJJ) 35 Pl. Pey Berland, 33000 Bordeaux, France

The Global Exposomics for Brain Health Symposium will be held from 17-19 June 2026 at the University of Bordeaux. It is themed “Mapping the Exposome to Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias” and will convene leading scientists and trainees dedicated to advancing the integration of environmental exposures into research on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). Drawing on a global network of researchers with complementary expertise in exposomics, data science, and neurodegenerative disease, the meeting provides a powerful foundation for discovery.

The symposium will spotlight emerging findings, harmonization efforts, and translational opportunities that link environmental health and exposomic data to neurodegenerative outcomes. By fostering cross-regional collaboration and expanding international partnerships, the meeting aims to accelerate innovation, strengthen collaborative networks, and chart a global research  agenda for understanding and preventing AD/ADRD.

The symposium is organized by the Institute for Exposomic Research and the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York), the University of Bordeaux, and the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM).  Additional partners include EIRENE, IHEN, NEXUS, and GECC.
